Shannon Howard-Eldridge

Shannon Howard-Eldridge is a partner with Milling, Benson, Woodward in Mandeville, Louisiana. She was born and raised in New Orleans, but has resided in Madisonville since 2006. She is a graduate of Mount Carmel Academy, University of New Orleans (B.A. Elementary Education) and Loyola Law, New Orleans (Juris Doctorate). Prior to attending law school, she was a teacher in St. Charles Parish Public Schools.
Ms. Eldridge is A.V. Preeminent rated by Martindale-Hubbell, the highest rating bestowed by that group. She has been a civil litigation attorney in Louisiana State and Federal courts for almost thirty-years, and has focused her practice on insurance coverage and defense matters.
Ms. Eldridge is the mother of one adult daughter and grandmother to two beautiful granddaughters. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her two dogs, hiking, gardening and exercising.
She is a qualified mediator in the areas of civil mediation and child custody mediation. Ms. Eldridge is available for any type of civil mediation. She has a particular interest in assisting parties in pre-litigation mediation including family disputes; neighborhood disputes and small business issues. She is available for divorce and custody mediation. Her background makes her particularly suited for mediation related to insurance matters. Ms. Eldridge is available to mediate in-person or via Zoom, and offers a flexible schedule including nights and weekend mediations.
